Before I left New York I spent a perfect day exploring by bike all the amazing art living among the rolling hills and trees at the Storm King Art Center outside the city. This is what I saw.

I am looking forward to finally going out to the Storm King Art Center, or as I like to think of it..New York’s Sculpture Art Amusement Park. The Center has an amazing 500 acres of art and nature. To prepare for my trip I took a look at some of their past installations and exhibitions.. Mark di Suervo sculptures in the south fields of Storm King.

I have spent the entire day de-installing the museum’s Maya Lin, a process that lasted a fair amount of time in which I spent channeling the gentle genius that is Maya Lin. Naturally that eventually led me to spend probably entirely too much time on her website. Here’s two of my favorites.
